Sister Josefina

In Juárez, Mexico, I live among migrant families and stand in solidarity with others whose family members have emigrated to the United States. In my parish, Jesus the Worker, where Sister Carol Jean and I live, I visit families, getting to know them- their needs and worries about the future. I also console families who have lost loved ones due to the rampant violence in the city. I share their pain, sadness and fear.

I am happy that I can be with these families, supporting them with my presence and care.
