Sister Carol Jean

Moved by the plight of immigrant families desperate to find a way to survive, I recently moved with Sister Josefina to Juárez, Mexico. I am part of a parish team doing pastoral outreach to families on that side of the border.

In spite of the extreme violence and dangerous conditions in Juárez, it is a privilege and gift for me to be here at this time, sharing the immigrants' fears and their sincere desires to better the lives of their loved ones.
