Immersion Experiences These are week long opportunities to gain a better understanding of immigration issues and the reality of life along the border between El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. |

There is a special focus on globalization and the effects of NAFTA and CAFTA on border life in terms of economic justice, human rights, the environment, and the population explosion occuring on both sides of the border. | ||
| Most important is the opportunity to establish relationships with people, especially women, on both sides of the border. In experiencing first hand the lives of the people one gains an understanding and is led to greater solidarity with them. |
