Our Mission

Our mission as School Sisters of St. Francis is to witness to the Good News of Jesus as we enter into the lives and needs of people, especially those who are poor. The staff of Casa Alexia live out this mission:

~ promoting solidarity with immigrants by raising awareness of the root causes of migration.

~ advocating for just and humane treatment of immigrants and comprehensive immigration reform in the United States.

~ raising awareness of the evil of human trafficking, especially of women and children.

~providing educational, social and pastoral services in poor colonias in El Paso, Texas and Juárez, Mexico.
